Alexis Mrachek is the Staff Assistant of the Rumsfeld Foundation. In this capacity, she provides administrative support to the Foundation staff and assists with work related to the fellowship programs, events and other activities. Before joining the Foundation in January 2017, she completed internships at both The Heritage Foundation and the American Foreign Policy Council, focusing on U.S. and Russian foreign policy. Ms. Mrachek graduated from Texas A&M University in 2015 with a B.A. in Russian and International Studies, following study abroad programs in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy, and St. Petersburg, Russia. Additionally, she has completed an intensive Russian language immersion program at Middlebury College in Vermont.
