Milestones in the Making: Our 25th CAMCA Fellowship Session

This fall the Foundation reached an exciting milestone of our CAMCA Fellowship Program as we hosted our 25th cohort of Fellows in Washington, D.C! With the addition of the recent Fall 2022 Fellows, we have been delighted to support over 250 Fellows since the program’s establishment in 2008. To commemorate these milestones and the program’s development, we asked a few representatives from our Fall session to share some impressions from their time as Fellows and to reflect on the impact of their experience.

2022 CAMCA Forum Report Released

The 2022 CAMCA (Central Asia-Mongolia-Caucasus-Afghanistan) Regional Forum report was recently released recapping the events held in Washington, D.C. from June 15th-16th, 2022. Organized by the Rumsfeld Foundation, the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute and the CAMCA Network, the 2022 CAMCA Regional Forum convened more than 200 representatives from 17 countries to discuss important issues and developments surrounding the Forum theme: "New Geopolitics and Geoeconomics in CAMCA."

A Friend of Georgia: Rumsfeld’s Lasting Legacy

Today, June 29th, marks the first anniversary of the passing of Secretary Rumsfeld. Over the past year, we have reflected extensively on the many lessons and insights imparted by our founder. In addition, among the Foundation’s networks and broader community of partners and supporters, we have been delighted to witness Rumsfeld’s legacy being carried forward in a number of terrific ways. One particular example that we are excited to feature in this blog post is a meaningful initiative honoring Rumsfeld’s significant impact on the Republic of Georgia.
