Looking Beyond Baku: The Future of CAMCA’s Regional Cooperation
The 2026 Forum underscored the growing importance of the CAMCA region as a bridge connecting Central Asia, the Caucasus, Mongolia, and Afghanistan with broader international markets and partners. As geopolitical and economic developments continue to impact the region, the need for stronger regional dialogue, connectivity, investment, and people-to-people relationships remains particularly important.
An essential part of sustaining this momentum is the CAMCA Network, one of the Forum’s main organizers and drivers. With more than 300 members and a growing community of professionals across the region and beyond, the CAMCA Network provides an ongoing platform for collaboration among leaders in business, government, academia, and civil society.
The Forum's discussions and connections are designed to extend far beyond the two-day gathering, encouraging participants to translate shared ideas into continued engagement, partnerships, and initiatives that contribute to the region's long-term development. The closing ceremony also included the special announcement that the 2027 CAMCA Regional Forum will take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in June 2027, continuing the Forum's tradition of rotating its annual gathering among countries of the CAMCA region.
