The Rumsfeld Foundation is pleased to announce the 11 professionals selected to participate in the Spring 2024 session of the CAMCA Fellowship Program.

As the capstone of their program, each CAMCA Fellowship cohort delivers a presentation addressing timely regional issues at a Central Asia-Caucasus Institute forum attended by professionals from local embassies, think tanks, the Hill and more.

The 27^th group of Fellows from Central Asia, Mongolia, the Caucasus and Afghanistan completed a six-week program of high-level meetings and research in Washington, D.C. from October 3^rd to November 9^th, 2023.

We are delighted to share in this blog post about a recent unique crossover experience between our Graduate Fellowship and CAMCA Fellowship programs this past fall.

The Rumsfeld Foundation is pleased to announce the 12 professionals selected to participate in the Fall 2023 session of the CAMCA Fellowship Program.

We were pleased to interview Dr. Murod Ismailov on two important regional education initiatives he recently founded: CAMCA Academy and the CAMCA Academic Consortium. Murod participated in our CAMCA Fellowship Program with the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute in the fall of 2009. Now, more than a decade after his time as a Fellow, Murod is working to pay forward the benefits received from his own professional experiences in order to advance educational institutions across the entire CAMCA region. 

The official 2023 CAMCA (Central Asia-Mongolia-Caucasus-Afghanistan) Regional Forum report was recently released highlighting the events held in Almaty, Kazakhstan over June 15^th-16^th, 2023. Organized by the Rumsfeld Foundation, the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute and the CAMCA Network, the 2023 Forum brought together more than 180 experts and professionals from around the globe to discuss timely developments throughout the CAMCA region while addressing this year’s Forum theme: "Uniting CAMCA: Progress and Possibilities."

The 26^th group of Fellows from Central Asia, Mongolia, the Caucasus and Afghanistan completed a six-week program of high-level meetings and research in Washington, D.C. from March 21^st to April 28^th, 2023.

We were delighted to interview our friends at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) to highlight the work they do to strengthen democracy through private enterprise and market-oriented reform, specifically throughout the CAMCA region. Read on to learn about CIPE’s important efforts and the ways in which they align with our CAMCA Fellowship, organized in partnership with the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute.
