Fall 2023 CAMCA Fellows Complete Program

The 27th group of Fellows from Central Asia, Mongolia, the Caucasus and Afghanistan completed a six-week program of high-level meetings and research in Washington, D.C. from October 3rd to November 9th, 2023.

CAMCA Collaboration: Featuring CAMCA Academy and Academic Consortium

We were pleased to interview Dr. Murod Ismailov on two important regional education initiatives he recently founded: CAMCA Academy and the CAMCA Academic Consortium. Murod participated in our CAMCA Fellowship Program with the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute in the fall of 2009. Now, more than a decade after his time as a Fellow, Murod is working to pay forward the benefits received from his own professional experiences in order to advance educational institutions across the entire CAMCA region.

2023 CAMCA Forum Report Released

The official 2023 CAMCA (Central Asia-Mongolia-Caucasus-Afghanistan) Regional Forum report was recently released highlighting the events held in Almaty, Kazakhstan over June 15th-16th, 2023. Organized by the Rumsfeld Foundation, the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute and the CAMCA Network, the 2023 Forum brought together more than 180 experts and professionals from around the globe to discuss timely developments throughout the CAMCA region while addressing this year’s Forum theme: "Uniting CAMCA: Progress and Possibilities."
